Last November, Dathan Ritzenhein came to New York City to attempt his first marathon - and left the Big Apple crushed. Over the last six miles of the 2006 ING New York City Marathon, Ritzenhein fell from running with the lead pack to huffing and puffing to an 11th place finish. As a marathoner, he was certainly a work in progress.
