Mile Split Network -Around the nation, big meets occurred in every corner of the nation.  Big invitationals brought about big surprises and big marks.  At the Roy Griak Invitational, U.S. ranked Rosemount (MN) boys faltered, fading to seventh place in the team standings, while in the girls race Katie Flood (IA) beat last year's third place finisher at Foot Locker Nationals, Emily Sisson (NE), by a huge margin.  The Roy Griak Invitational exemplified what occurs this time of year.  The stars rise to the top, while the pretenders fade away.
