NYRR - Since making his debut at 26.2 miles at the ING New York City Marathon 2003, Matt Downin has been among the top performers in the event. He won the Alberto Salazar Award as the first American finisher in the 2003 race. Now, the Massachusetts native hopes to earn a berth on the U.S. Olympic team at the Trials on November 3 in Central Park.
