NYRR - Sally Kipyego has been running competitively for less than seven years, but she has already made a strong impression. Representing Texas Tech University, Kipyego became the first Kenyan woman to win an NCAA Division I cross country individual championship, a feat she accomplished in 2006. She won the Honda Award as America's top collegiate female cross country runner and was nominated for Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year.
