The 25-year-old Ethiopian also confirmed to guests at his wedding to 22-year-old film actress Danawit Gebregziabher at the weekend that he plans to regain his world cross crown from Zersenay Tadese next year. That would see the world 5,000m and 10,000m record holder making another trip to Edinburgh where the championships will be staged on 30 March, again in Holyrood Park but over a different course.
